I’m finding myself lost for words right now as our world - my world - your world - not the world of a few cruel and disconnected egomaniacs - feels more and more dangerous. But this crystal grid arrived and it feels right to share, so I’ll try to describe it as best as I can.
I protect myself from much of the news, because it is more than I can process. But I don’t believe in totally disengaging - we can only consider that from our position of privilege. And in any case, we can’t actually disengage. If truly We Are All One, then what happens affects us, no matter what. We might not listen to endless news bulletins but we are in the huge web of planetary energy all the time.
What can I do? I can listen to the birds, enjoy the river and the trees, stay present to the best of my ability, hold space for those I love, share what I’ve learned over my 70 years. And I can cry, grieve, rage, mourn, lament - not avoiding the feelings but allowing them to flow and release. And I can create crystal grids for their magic.
It feels like this grid has been coming into being for a while. The Obsidian Arrows have been poking me since I saw them.
I do not ‘think’ grids like these. They exist in and of themselves, unformed, a blueprint somewhere, until I can receive and understand enough to ring them into being. There is no thought, though once they are made I can think about why certain crystals are present.
At the centre of this crystal grid is a beautiful Moss Agate Dragon. Some of you have seen this beauty before in photographs of our Sacred Journey in England and Wales in September 2023.
Moss Agate is a beautiful form of quartz chalcedony that has tree or fern like inclusions or dendrites which give the name. The base of Moss Agate is clear Quartz and the dendrites are mainly green and created by the inclusion of various metals. There is no organic matter in the stone.
It brings a wonderful healing energy, which is quite slow and gentle, but deep acting, combining spirituality with the natural physical world, connecting and balancing above and below, and also left and right, within our being. They remind us that we are Nature herself – Life expressing herself through each and every one of us – and can thus support us to remember our true spiritual Beingness. In doing so, and thus understanding our place in the world, we can step away from ego, become more grounded in our lives and more healthy on all levels, with stronger immune systems and better relationships with ourselves and others. I absolutely love this stone, and fully appreciate her beauty and magic.
You may also see two small Dragons at the side of the grid. These, along with the small skulls, are made of Preseli Bluestone and Sarsen Stone. The larger outer circle of Stonehenge is of Sarsen Stone and the inner circle is of Preseli Bluestone from West Wales.
The Dragon is the heraldry symbol of Wales, but Dragons are found in many ancient stories and are part of the deep mythology of the land. Dragon lines are the energy lines of Earth that weave and interweave around the planet, and many of our ancient rituals include weaving dragon dances.
Dragonfire refers to a high frequency spiritual energy that is very pure and perceived as an inner light. It can be fed through being out of doors, in the natural world and in natural light.
Working with dragon energy can help us to discover, allow, tend and share our true power so that we can live our spiritual purpose. It must never, however, be allowed to run amok if true service is confused with desire – thus the stories of containment.
Surrounding the Moss Agate Dragon are 6 Herkimer Diamonds - Diamond Light - bright, clear, awakening, uncompromising and 6 Golden Fluorite. All Fluorite is highly spiritual and very transformative. It brings order to chaos, especially mental chaos ,and transforms negativity. The gold awakens our spirit at the crown chakra and brings the warmth of the sun into the heart centre.
Next are Quartz Sceptres and Kunzite.
Sceptre Quartz have a central crystal ‘rod’ with a larger crystal formation at one end, grown around the rod.
The Sceptre is one of the symbols associated with Sovereignty. At this time on Earth, when there is such polarity, every thought, word and deed is important in determining what will follow. It is important that we do not give away our power, but step fully into our own sovereignty and take responsibility for all aspects of our lives. We cannot keep looking to others to do what’s needed. Each and every one of us is responsible for our own circle of Being, and how we impact on the Whole.
These crystals are a reminder of who we truly are – each and every one of us the Queen/King/Chief of our own lives.
Kunzite is a stone of the heart, opening us to Divine Love. It can connect heart and mind and encourage heart centred connection and communication. However, it is not a soft touch! It has a ruthless compassion and will cut through anything that is untrue or not in alignment.
The beautiful Obsidian Arrows protect the centre. I wrote about these only a couple of days ago:
We can use arrowheads for many purposes.
We can use them for cutting through negativity and chaos to find clarity and focus.
In challenging times, especially when we need to make difficult decisions, arrowheads can help navigate the path forward.
They can help hone discernment so we can step forward with clarity and confidence.
They can also be protective, helping to shield against negativity on physical, mental, emoltional and spiritual levels.
Black Obsidian itself is also protective, so Black Obsidian arrows are particularly useful.
Right now, maybe we all need an Obsidian arrow to help us deal with the dreadful things we are exposed to daily and the shocking events in our world.
Looking on are two beautiful crystal skulls in Preseli Bluestone and Jade. Quietly observing, they bring a calm and deep strength and wisdom.
The skull is uniquely human and can remind us of the true nature and purpose of human life – to be an integral part of the whole, in right relationship with Mother Earth and all who live on her. They can remind us of our sacred blueprint and the potential for us to embody a high consciousness. They also remind us of our commonality – that whatever our perceived difference, we are all of the tribe of Human.
