This one day workshop with Sue and Mary is the perfect introduction to crystals, crystal healing, understanding energy and energy healing. Although we have a basic plan for the day, it is very adaptable. Every workshop is unique, depending on who joins us, so please do bring your questions.

The workshop is suitable for all crystal lovers, including
- people who love crystals but don't know where to start
- those who have a little experience of crystals but want to learn more from an experienced teacher
- those who have a crystal collection and have read lots but are confused by conflicting information and would like more clarity
- therapists in other disciplines

It will be a very practical hands-on day, with the opportunity to see, hold and explore lots of crystals.

This workshop will give you:

- A basic understanding of what is a crystal and what isn’t and how they are formed within the earth
- A basic understanding that everything is energy, including you, and a few tools to balance your energy
- The opportunity to explore your energy and that of others with a focus on the human energy field/aura and a bit about the chakra system
- The opportunity to explore the energy of a selection of crystals
- Information on how you can choose, cleanse and care for your crystals
- Information on how you can begin to bring crystals into your life, including your home, garden and workplace, for increased wellbeing, healing and balance
- A couple of crystal healing ‘techniques’ for yourself and to share with friends and family

You will receive comprehensive class notes and a copy of Sue’s crystal booklet.

There will be plenty of crystals for everyone to use. You can purchase crystals at lunchtime or the end of the day, but there is no expectation that you will do so.

The Crystal Barn can be chilly in November so please do wear plenty of layers and bring a light blanket/shawl. We remove shoes, so easy on-off shoes are best and bring extra warm socks, slippers or indoor shoes.

Teas will be provided. You need to bring lunch.

Solstice or Yule marks the shortest day and the longest night before the return of the sun brings longer days.

It's almost midsummer!

After a very slow start, suddenly the wheel seems to have turned very quickly, and solstice is almost upon us.
We've left it a little late to plan a ceremony so we decided to do something a little different this year.

Summer Solstice is at 3:57pm on Wednesday 21st June and we invite you to join us round the fire for a circle gathering and meditation followed by a cream tea. Please arrive by 3:15pm and bring a garden chair or groundsheet/blanket.
Everyone is welcome but we do need to know if you are coming to make sure we have enough scones - standard or GF.

There’s no fee but we will have a bowl for love donations and ask that you are generous.

Since we haven't had an open day for a while, some of you have been asking when you can visit the Crystal Barn. We'll open the barn on Wednesday from 12 noon so you can browse at your leisure. We'll make you tea.
