This is a man made glass stone known as Gaia Stone, Helenite (for Mount St Helens), Obsidianite and various other names.
It is said to be a useful stone for earth healing. I bought it some time ago when I was exploring man made quartz and other stones. I quite like this for the shade of green in a colour therapy type way.
