We have several of these pebbles and they are very hard to tell apart. You may not receive the item in the photograph.
Chrysanthemum Stone is an ancient sedimentary rock with a dark grey or black base into which ‘flower’ crystals of Andalusite, Calcite, Celestite or Feldspar have formed. It has long been valued in China.
I haven’t been drawn to work with it, though I do find it quite fascinating. It seems quiet, deep and settled with a seed of promise. I might try using it in the early stages of a project.
