This is a new discovery for us. I was quite intrigued when I saw it a while ago because I’d never seen or heard of Blue Jasper.
I bought these pieces - raw unpolished at the cut base and polished at the top. The colour is deepest blue with some areas of brown. One piece has blue and brown mottling at the top and two have deep blue.grey blue patterns. I believe it is from Brazil but when I’ve looked it up I can’t find any reference to Blue Jasper from Brazil. The closest images I can find are some of the deeper blue coloured Blue Mountain Jasper from Oregon.
The energy is, as one would expect from Jasper, strong, slow, deep, stable but it is more mental rather than physical. It feels very calming and reliable - slowing down agitation and overwhelm. I think it could bring distance when the mind is filled with too many tasks, thoughts, choices.

This piece is nice and chunky and approximately 3inches/8cm tall.

Shell Jasper isn't actually a Jasper but a fossil-bearing variety of Marble that polishes to a lovely smooth, beautifully tactile texture. It has attractive swirls and patterns in white, black and shades of grey.
Energetically it has a light, gentle quality that is calming and relaxing. It is very smooth, calming, stable and reassuring. This is a good stone to rest with.
Since this stone is actually Marble, not Jasper/Quartz, it is much softer (3 on the Mohs scale rather than 6/7) and more easily scratched.
