The beautiful Four Directions Goddess has a spiral over her womb.

”The Goddess has many faces, and while she appears in each woman, She also manifests as the Earth itself. The Square Spiral is a deep and subtle symbol, which the Goddess holds over her womb. Its four corners stand for the four pillars of the Earth; its four corners and its four sacred directions. The spiral stands for the journey to the centre. In this, it points to the path to understanding and realisation. The spiral is also a symbol of the journey through life ending in death; to the absolute centre from whence we come and to which we return. To the Goddess, Life is a movement in and out; towards the centre and then back to the outside. Nothing is ever higher or lower to the Goddess, who judges nothing. All things invite movement, either closer or farther from the centre, or all things return with time.” Nirvana

With her are Jade polished nuggets, Turquoise, Green Garnet, Moonstone and silver fresh water Pearls. They are strung on my favourite beading thread, made of many fine wires coated with nylon, which gives strength, suppleness and flexibility, protecting the beads and giving a lovely kink-free drape.

Jade is deeply calming, helping us to find our still centre in times of stress, overwhelm or negative influences. It is also strongly protective. Jade promotes wisdom and peace, and helps us to reconnect with the Whole of which we are a part, so that we can be filled with love, gratitude and appreciation for the beauty of Creation.

Green Garnet helps us to connect with the rich flow of life on Earth and natural growth. It helps us to move beyond any feelings of lack or scarcity and into abundance, whether this be energy, nourishment, money/finance, love, confidence, etc. It opens and expands the heart to greater love, peace, joy and happiness.

Turquoise is a wonderful healing stone that has been used for many thousands of years. It acts on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies, bringing peace, balance and protection. Physically, it is a powerful but gentle healer, supporting the immune system and bringing rejuvenation; emotionally and mentally it brings a sense of calm well-being and aids clear, courageous and truthful communication. Combining the frequencies of blue and green, it connects us with both heaven and earth, and balances our masculine and feminine energies.

Moonstone is beautifully serene. It has a strong affinity with the emotions and can bring a cooling, soothing, graceful energy to smooth the rough edges of turmoil. It can help us to align with, and flow with, all the cycles of life. Moonstone is excellent for women at all stages of life. It balances hormonal upsets, can help with ‘PMS’, painful menstruation, infertility, challenges of pregnancy, to ease birth, for post birth support and for menopause. Moonstone reminds women of their divinity – that all are goddesses.

Pearl is feminine, gentle and calming.

I’ve been saving these beautiful silver goddesses and clasps, and many of the beads, for years and years. I kept telling myself that I’d use them one day and my current motto is, ‘What am I waiting for?’ When the May sun finally came out, my creativity ramped up, and I’ve really enjoyed making these. There are more to follow, and if you have any special requests, please email and I’ll see if I can help your desire to manifest.

How to care for your necklace:

Sterling silver will naturally oxidise/tarnish over time simply by being in contact with the air. While you can never avoid this completely, you can help by avoiding contact with water, sweat, perfumes, hair spray, body lotions etc., cleaning chemicals, etc. We include a small silver cloth for you to polish your goddess and keep her shiny! Store your necklace in a jewellery box or bag. Airtight bags are especially good for silver.

All my jewellery passes the ‘give it some very hard tugs’ test and I’ve worn some of my pieces for many years. I have had necklaces break in the past, but only when a child has swung on them! The wire has a particular, recognisable look when broken by pulling it beyond breaking strength. The necklaces are very well made and hardy, but having said that, it’s best to take off these necklaces for sleeping, showering/bathing, swimming, rough sports, etc.

Your necklace should arrive in perfect condition. If not, please contact me immediately. For later breakages, please collect all the beads and return for restringing. There is a cost for this service. If you have a breakage and are unable to find all the beads, I may be able to match beads or find other compatible beads.
