Garden Quartz Tumblestones

£2.50

Tumblestones or tumbled stones have been tumbled with grit in a large tumbling machine to create a polished surface that is pleasant to hold and is also good for reflecting the colour of the stone. They are a great, inexpensive way to get to know crystals and to start building your collection. They are also perfect tools for healing and gridmaking.

If you purchase a pair or grid set, each is individually handpicked with great care for balance and coherence. If you order multiple singles, we cannot always guarantee to have enough stock to make up a balanced pair or set, but we will do our best.

These tumblestones are our 'standard stock' and we usually have many available. They all pass Sue's quality test, but since they are natural stones there will be some variation in appearance. You may not receive the item in the photograph.

Utterly gorgeous Garden Quartz 💚💚💚

I first came across tumblestones like these many years ago. They were called Garden Quartz and no one was particularly interested in them because they weren’t clear! I absolutely loved them, but then I do love crystals with inclusions and lots of personality.

In recent years they have become more popular – as have many previously ignored crystals in the search for new things to sell. And they now have lots of names!
Inclusion Quartz – accurate since it is Quartz with inclusions, including Hematite, Feldspar, Chlorite.
Landscape or Scenic Quartz – describe the patterns that often look like mini landscapes or scenes
Lodolite, Lodelite, Lodalite – though ending in ‘ite’ there isn’t actually a mineral called Lodolite (as far as I am aware) and I believe the word come from the Greek for muddy stone.

These crystals can have inclusions of green, red, pink, brown. To me they are a higher frequency of Moss Agate, and like Moss Agate, help us to connect with Nature at a spiritual level. Of course, Nature is not separate from us – we are Nature – and Garden Quartz reminds us of our place within the whole.

I think that Tree Agate, Moss Agate and Garden Quartz are similar, with each having a different frequency of the same energy. Tree Agate is the most grounded – not heavy at all, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually reminding us that we are of Earth.
