Until recently, all the Blue Opal I’d ever seen came from South America. That kind is also called Andean or Peruvian Opal and is a translucent to opaque, soft pastel blue or blue-green stone.
It has a wonderfully soothing energy, especially on the emotional level, that can help us to find peace in challenging times. Blue Opal can clear, open and soothe the Heart and Throat chakras, thus adding communication from the heart. It also works with the Brow chakra, gently but powerfully expanding intuition and inspiration.
This Owyhee Opal is new to me this year. It comes from the Owyhee River valley in Oregon, USA.
I find that the main focus of this energy is with the Heart and Brow chakras.
