Libyan Gold Tektite, also known as Libyan Desert Glass is almost pure silica glass formed at incredibly high temperatures. It is found in the western desert of Egypt, close to Libya and is considered to have been created by meteorite impact.
Interest in this stone has increased enormously in recent years. I think the likely reason is the incredible focus on Moldavite which has made the latter difficult to find and very expensive.
Like Moldavite, Libyan Gold Tektite is transformative but I find it gentler, more supportive and protective. It resonates with the Sun at a spiritual level and helps us to be more confident in bringing forward our uniqueness and knowing that we are part of the Whole.
