Lovely Rhyolite/Rainforest Jasper Thumbstones.
Tumblestones or tumbled stones have been tumbled with grit in a large tumbling machine to create a polished surface that is pleasant to hold and is also good for reflecting the colour of the stone. They are a great, inexpensive way to get to know crystals and to start building your collection. They are also perfect tools for healing and gridmaking.
These tumblestones are our 'standard stock' and we usually have many available. They all pass Sue's quality test, but since they are natural stones there will be some variation in appearance. You may not receive the item in the photograph.
Rainforest Jasper or Green Rhyolite has a lovely gentle earth quality, and is a good all-round healer, reminding us that we are part of the natural world, and bringing balance and a sense of wellbeing.
Although it is called Jasper, it isn’t a Jasper; it is a Rhyolite rock made up of other minerals as well as quartz.
Rhyolite is an igneous, volcanic rock, comprised primarily of quartz and feldspar, but with small amounts of several other minerals. It comes in a variety of colours, including white, cream, pink, grey, green, brown. quartz, alkali feldspar, oligoclase feldspar, biotite, amphibole, or pyroxene.
