These lovely little crystals are small, double-terminated, very sparkly Quartz crystals that look and feel a lot like Herkimer Diamonds, but they don’t come from Herkimer land so are not strictly Herkimer Diamonds (though many are sold as such) and they cost a lot less. I’ve had many ‘Herkimer type’ crystals before, but these are absolutely gorgeous and just as clear, bright and sparkly as my own Herkimers from my healing kit.

Herkimer Diamonds are double-terminated quartz crystals from the area in and around Herkimer County, New York and the Mohawk River Valley. Named for their beautiful sparkle, they are truly ‘Seeds of Light’. They often have small black flecks of androxylite, and sometimes tiny golden oil inclusions.

 As with all quartz crystals, Herkimer Diamonds clear the dross within our physical and energy bodies, bringing a new bright energy, clarity and focus. Herkimers open and strengthen our ‘sixth senses’ and are particularly good at reminding us who we are and reconnecting us with our spiritual truth.

Herkimer type crystals are also found in other locations, such as Morocco, Mexico, Tibet/Himalayas.
