Chrysoprase is green Quartz Chalcedony, coloured by Nickel.

Madagascan Chrysoprase is new to us and feels very different to the usual apple green Australian Chrysoprase. I believe it is a relatively new discovery from 2016. Australian Chrysoprase is, to me, a beautiful heartstone that epitomises open heartedness. It has an airy feel that clears rigid and limiting thoughts and beliefs and encourages acceptance, optimism, joy and a willingness to look beyond a limited viewpoint to a much wider perspective. It might help us to hear different viewpoints - and there is always something to learn from every position, even if the lesson is 'don't go there'.

This Madagascan Chrysoprase is much more fluid. It feels like deep pools of rich, moist nourishment. It helps me to connect with the rich abundance of the natural world and I believe it would be very helpful for people who are recovering from illness.
